As a tattoo artist for nearly two decades I have spent much time with many people from all walks of life. The tattooing process is quite intimate, lots of energy being shared. With most sessions being several
hours, and being the neuro-saucy girl that I am, I find it near impossible to engage in small talk and therefore would often find myself elbow deep in someone else’s life experiences. Sharing intimate stories and experiences with so many people helped me to become very aware of how connected we all are and how while our specific experiences may differ, at our core we all suffer and rejoice the same.
These interactions inspired me to tell my story; past present and future, from suffering to celebration, from the darkness to transcendence. To continue connecting with people by creating strong visual narratives rich with symbolism that evoke a sense of connection and alignment.
